The Studio Bonsall is the private creative home of Sarah Bracci Photographics.
Located in the heart of Bonsall, California, The Studio Bonsall was created for newborn, maternity, milestone, family, headshot, and professional portrait sessions. It features a softly styled natural-light room, a fully equipped professional shooting space, carefully selected furnishings, and a comfortable atmosphere for portrait clients.
The studio is primarily reserved for Sarah Bracci Photographics.
A limited number of Resident Photographer positions are currently available by application.
Why I Created The Studio Bonsall
For years, I dreamed of having a dedicated photography studio.
Like many photographers, I began by transforming rooms in my home before every session and packing everything away when I finished. I wanted a space that was always ready—a place where I could unlock the door, welcome my clients, and begin creating.
The Studio Bonsall became that place.
Every piece of furniture, backdrop, wall color, and detail has been selected with photographers and their clients in mind. My goal has always been to create a space that feels calm, welcoming, professional, and effortless to work in.
After offering traditional hourly rentals, I realized that the studio was too personal to become a revolving door. Protecting the space, my schedule, and the experience I provide my own clients must remain the priority.
For that reason, future studio access will be limited and offered by application only.
Two Distinct Studio Spaces
The Studio Bonsall includes two distinct creative spaces, giving photographers the freedom to move between soft natural light and complete lighting control.
The Natural Light Studio
Bright, airy, and intentionally styled, the Natural Light Studio features timeless neutral décor that photographs beautifully throughout the year.
The Natural Light Studio is ideal for:

The Professional Studio

Limited Resident Photographer Opportunities
The Studio Bonsall is the private creative home of Sarah Bracci Photographics and is no longer available for public hourly rental.
A limited number of Resident Photographer positions are available to established professional photographers seeking a consistent, beautifully equipped studio for their business.
Resident Photographers receive recurring studio access through a monthly rental agreement. This arrangement is designed for photographers who want a dependable creative space—not occasional hourly bookings.
To protect the studio, availability is limited to two or three carefully selected photographers.

Who We’re Looking For
The right Resident Photographer is someone who:
Operates a professional photography business
Carries current business liability insurance
Has an established portfolio and professional online presence
Communicates clearly and reliably
Treats the studio, furnishings, equipment, and neighboring businesses with care
Provides a professional experience for their clients
Follows all opening, closing, security, climate-control, and cleanup procedures
Wants consistent monthly access rather than occasional hourly rentals
Experience and photography style will be considered, but professionalism, reliability, and respect for the space are essential.
How Resident Access Works
Resident Photographers receive:
Recurring studio access each month
A consistent schedule based on the selected rental option
Use of approved studio furnishings and equipment
Access to both the Natural Light Studio and the Professional Studio
The ability to photograph their own clients during reserved studio time
Orientation to the studio, equipment, and opening and closing procedures
Complimentary admission to occasional Studio Bonsall coffee open houses
Resident access is offered through a recurring monthly agreement. Exact availability, pricing, included hours, scheduling, insurance requirements, and studio policies will be discussed with selected applicants.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Applicants who appear to be a strong fit will be contacted to schedule a conversation and studio tour.
Occasional Coffee/Wine Open Houses
The Studio Bonsall may occasionally host small coffee/Wine open houses for photographers and local creative professionals.
These relaxed gatherings may include coffee, conversation, a studio tour, and an opportunity to connect with other creatives.
Resident Photographers may attend at no additional charge. Other guests may purchase individual tickets when an event is announced.

Approved furnishings and designated equipment are included according to the selected rental option. An equipment orientation may be required before using studio lights or specialty items.
Do Resident Photographers receive unlimited access?
No. Each Resident Photographer receives recurring access according to the schedule and hours included in their monthly rental agreement. Unscheduled or unrestricted access is not included.
Are coffee open houses part of the rental?
Resident Photographers may attend occasional coffee open houses at no additional charge. These gatherings are optional and are not guaranteed to occur on a recurring schedule.
